Colman Reservation, Attleboro

Description: These many looping trails are flat and narrow in spots. The hiker will walk past an immense stone face and into the woods where the walker can follow the giant Hemlock trail. This wide and open trail is lined with many pines and maples and dotted with scrub brush. This trail boasts a lofty hemlock tree that is centuries-old. These many trails loop to join one another and eventually loop back to the parking lot.

Directions: Traveling Rt. 44 East: At the intersection of Rt. 118, take a left on to Rt. 118. Travel on Rt. 118 for 3.7 miles. Take a left and continue on Rt. 118 for 1.7 miles. Bear right at Park St. (0.5 miles). Park St. will then make a hard right (Cumberland Farms on your right). Continue for 0.5 mile. Take right on to Steere St. A Fire Station will be on your right. Continue on Steere St. for approx. 0.5 miles, parking lot is on the left.

 Traveling Rt. 44 West: At the intersection of Rt. 118, take a right on to Rt. 118. Travel on Rt. 118 for 3.7 miles. Take a left and continue on Rt. 118 for 1.7 miles. Continue on Steere St. for approx. 0.5 miles, parking lot is on the left.
